*2:28 Once you’ve solved the three lock puzzles later on to get the ancient bunker doors open, go through the doors and continue straight ahead, opening another set of bunker doors on the left of the corridor. The main ‘Grave-Hoard’ quest will have you run straight past it, so all you have to do is look down and the power cell will be at your feet, beside a supply crate and some mushrooms. Horizon Zero Dawn is an action role-playing gameplayed from a third-person view.Players take control of Aloy, a hunter who ventures through a post-apocalyptic land ruled by robotic creatures.Aloy can kill enemies in a variety of ways – setting traps such as tripwires using the Tripcaster,shooting them with arrows, using explosives,and a spear.Machine components, including electricity and the metal they are composed of, are vital to Aloy's survival; she can loot their remains for crafting resources.Ammo, resource satchels, pouches, quivers, resistance, antidotes, health potions, and traps can all be crafted.Weapons have modification slots for dealing more damage.Aloy wears a Focus, a small head piece that scans machines to determine their susceptibilities,identify their location, their level, and the nature of loot they will drop.One machine, the Stalker, can enable cloaking technology to avert the gaze of Aloy's Focus scan.Machines attack with defensive and offensive measures, and in either case react to a perceived threat by charging at it with brute force or projectiles. Exhibiting the behaviour of wild animals, some machines are inclined to move in herds, and others, with the ability to fly, do so in flocks. Unless hacked with the Override Tool, or sufficiently hit with corruption arrows, machines do not exert aggressive force against each other.Aloy also engages in battle with human enemies, such as bandits and the Eclipse cult. Aloy can dodge, sprint, slide, or roll to evade her enemies' advances.Hiding in foliage to ambush nearby enemies can ensure immediate takedowns.Swimming may reach enemies stealthily or places otherwise unreachable on foot.She is able to hacka selection of machines with the Override Tool, some of which can be turned into makeshift mounts.Explorable ruins called Cauldrons unlock additional machines to override.Three categories occur in the skill tree: "Prowler" concerns stealth, "Brave" improves combat, and "Forager" increases healing and gathering capabilities. To level up, Aloy attains experience points from individual kills and completing quests.Upgrades in each category result in more adept use of the skills learned, with "Prowler" leading to silent takedowns, "Brave" to aiming a bow in slow motion, and "Forager" to an enlarged medicine pouch.The Frozen Wildsadded "Traveller", which unlocks the ability to jump off a mount to attack enemies.The game has a seamless open world with a day-night cycle and dynamic weather system. The map is composed of forest, jungle, desert, and snowy mountain regions.Mountainous terrain is traversed with the employment of parkour,and aided by the use of zip-lines.Corruption Zones constitute areas that heighten difficulty and are populated by corrupted machines that behave with more aggression.To uncover more of the map, Aloy must scale large giraffe-like machines known as Tallnecks.Twenty-five robotic creature designs are present in the game.Save points and fast travelcan be accessed by interacting with campfires, once discovered.The quest structure unfolds to accommodate the exploration of tribes, while the main story covers the entire world.Side quests involve Aloy completing tasks, like gathering materials, coming to the aid of individuals in danger of being killed, solving mysteries, assuming control of bandit camps, eliminating criminals and more difficult machines, accomplishing various challenges at any of the five Hunting Grounds,and obtaining an ancient armour that makes Aloy almost impervious to damage. A dialogue wheel is used to communicate with non-player characters.Collectibles include vantages that offer visual information of the Old World, metal flowers that contain poetry, and old relics, such as ancient mugs and tribal artefacts.
How to get Secret Shield-Weaver Armor for Invincibility in Horizon Zero Dawn: You must find all 5 Power Cell Locations and bring the Cells to the Ancient Armory. Doing this unlocks the trophy "Got the Shield-Weaver outfit" (Recovered an ancient technology and put it to use). The Power Cells are found in mission areas but you can go back and get them later. The missions areas are locked until you reach a certain point in the story. You can still free roam after beating the story and collect everything after the game ending. To save some time it would be best if you pick them up during the main quests. If you die you must pick them up again, they are not saved instantly (must reach next checkpoint). The power cells have a green icon which makes them easier to spot. If you have trouble reaching a location there's an easy trick: Hover over the area on the world map and press D-Pad Down to see the different layers. Put a marker by pressing X at the same location as the video shows. Now in Game Settings (press Options-Button) turn on "Waypoint Pathfinding". This makes it so you get a new waypoint every few meters to guide you through buildings. This is especially useful for the second Power Cell on the 12th floor of Maker's End. If you get them during the story just follow the main quest markers and you'll get to the areas automatically. Power Cell Locations: #1 - Area: All Mother (Main Quest: The Womb of the Mountain) - 0:05 It's in a side room on the right side after waking up in the mountain (1st floor). Crouch through the hole in the wall to reach it. If you miss it this area gets locked until beating main quest "The Heart of the Nora" which is at the end of the story. #2 - Area: Maker's End (Main Quest: Maker's End) - 0:52 At the very top of the tower (12th floor). #3 - Area: The Grave-Hoard (Main Quest: The Grave Hoard) - 1:52 3rd floor, after solving the ring puzzle to open the locked door. It's behind the locked door, you'll walk right into it. You have to open this door and do the puzzle as part of the story, very easy to locate this one. #4 - Area: GAIA Prime (Main Quest: The Mountain That Fell) - 3:42 3rd floor, after you go through the first part of the building you'll come outside and have to rapel down. BEFORE you rapel down, jump down to the left on the rocks and it's in the hidden purple area. #5 - Area: Ruins (Free Roam) - 4:23 These are the ruins from the prologue of the game, where young Aloy fell down. Now that she's grown up, one of the doors can be pried open with the spear. When looking at the map it's on the 1st floor in the purple area at the bottom right corner. After finding all 5 Power Cell Locations head back to the Ancient Armory Bunker. It's marked as a side quest. Insert the 5 power cells, solve the ring puzzle and take the armor. In inventory open the Shield-Weaver Outfit Treasure Box and equip the armor. This unlocks the trophy. This armor is extremely powerful and renders you completely invincible until it starts flashing red. It absorbs every type of damage, even falling damage. When it turns red go into cover for a few seconds to make it recharge. You can take quite a lot of damage before it gets red. Makes the game much easier. Here is a quick guide on how to get the best armor which is a secret legendary armor you get as a reward along with the new shield weaver skill called overshield. The armor is called the Oseram Artificer and is given as a reward for completing a set of salvage contractor quests. Get the fifth power cell from the Gaia Prime location, WITHOUT having to do the main 'The Mountain That Fell' quest. I would recommend you get the first four power cells by doing the corresponding main quests, and also activate the ancient armory quest. To get the best armor in the game, the Shield-Weaver outfit, you must collect 5 power cells. In this guide, you can find out how to get all the power cells and get the outfit for yourself. You do need to be pretty far through the game to get to some of the later levels, but the outfit is still definitely worth getting.

Horizon Zero Dawn Secret Quest Ancient Armory How to get Shield- Weaver Outfit Timeline Power Cell Locations: Cell #1: The Womb of the Mountain Area: All Mother 0:05 Location: During the “Search for your equipment” phase of the quest, move through the blue doors and turn right to face a locked red door. Crawl into the vent to reach a room with the first power cell on the floor. Cell #2: Free Roam Exploration 1:12 Area: Ruins Location: Return to the ruins featured in the prologue (accessible at any time) — drop down and pry open one of the locked doors in the underground. Smash through the rocks blocking the doorway to find the last cell on a desk. Now select the “Ancient Armor” quest from the menu to find the bunker location on your map. Drop down into the water-logged cavern and insert all five power cells to open the door into the armory. After recharging both areas, complete the clock puzzles on either side to finally open the door to the Shield-Weaver armor. Cell #3: The Grave-Hoard 2:25 Area: The Grave-Hoard Location: When working to restore power, drop into the silo and complete the holo clock puzzles. Finish all three to open the ancient door. As you step through the door, you’ll find this cell directly in your path. It’s hard to miss. Cell #4: The Mountain That Fell 3:32 Area: GAIA Prime Location: While searching for the master override, you’ll leave the third floor interior and exit outside. There’s a waypoint on the beam, allowing you to zip-line across the gorge. Before doing that, drop down onto the rocks to the left and enter the hidden cave that leads to this power cell. Cell #5: Maker’s End 4:58 Area: Maker’s End Location: While looking for information on Dr. Sobek, climb up to the 12th floor of the tower. From this floor, climb the large metal beam structure at the back of the room. There’s a treasure chest at the base. Continue up to reach the highest point of the building where this power cell is found. 1st Puzzle: Up / Right / Down / Left / Up 2nd Puzzle: Right / Left / Up / Right / Left Open the “Shield-Weaver Outfit Box” to get your armor, and unlock the “Got the Shield-Weaver Outfit” trophy. Side Quest Walkthrough – Ancient Armory Horizon Zero Dawn he first Side Quest puts Aloy on a hunt to gather the locations of the 5 Power Cells scattered in the game. When brought to the Ancient Armory from the Sidequest Tab, this unlocks the Shield Weaver Outfit and upon equipping rewards the trophy “Got the Shield-Weaver Outfit.” These are located at Mission Areas. Although it is possible to obtain them via Free Roam, the better approach would be to locate them during the Main Quest. If you fail to reach the checkpoint after obtaining one, it will not be counted, thus it’s best to prevent any accidents or failures once a Power Cell is found. Power Cells show up as Green icons, making them easier to locate. With the other three Power Cells, head out the door opposite the one you came in from and turn right. You’ll find another three Power Cell slots that you’ll need to put the cells into and then turn them into the following positions from left to right: Right, left, up, right, left. When the locks are in these positions, the power should come on and you should now be able to interact with and obtain the Shield-Weaver outfit in Horizon Zero Dawn. Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cell Locations Video Guide to help you unlock the Shield-Weaver Outfit and trophy. Got the Shield-Weaver outfit - Recovered an ancient technology and put it to use, part of the Ancient Armory sidequest. There are a total of 5 Power Cells in the game. There is no reason to rush to collect these because the last one can only be obtained right before the final mission. 0:00 - 1) First one can be obtained fairly early after The Proving, when you wake up in All-Mother Mountain, beyond Mother's Watch. If you miss it here, you can get it again later. 0:55 - 2) Second power cell is found in the Ruins East of Mother's Watch, the one Aloy fell in as a child. 2:41 - 3) Found in Maker's End (main story quest takes you here). Once you reach the top 12th floor, you can climb to the peak to find it. 3:49 - 4) The Grave-Hoard (also main story mission). Hard to miss; it's right before a set of enemies. If pass you it, it will show up a bit further in the rubble just beyond the area of enemies. 4:31 - 5) GAIA Prime (mission: The Mountain That Fell). Before leaving, you can find it in a small area. Once you find any one Power Cell, the sidequest 'Ancient Armory' will show up on the quest list to show you the location (5:37) of where to use the Power Cells to unlock the Shield-Weaver outfit. It will show up as a Treasure Box, which you will have to open. The outfit protects you from attacks for a bit before needing a recharge.
